what i will say in defence of the Scousers is not at any stage of what must have been a terrible day for them did i hear them booing or taking it out on any of their players not even a 3-0 down .

Our away support has always been up there with the very best. If our away form continues then they will be rewarded too. Be nice to get something at Goodison this season!

What a day yesterday was. As others have said, best away trip ever - from start to finish it was a superb day. Had put £10 on us to win 2-0 at 40/1, I'll forgive Sakho

In bits today though

Noble's finish seemed to take forever to hit the back of the net! Great moment though!

Best away day for me!

Superb day. Waited a long long time for a win there. Support was outstanding.

In fairness to the Mickeys most of them stayed till the third goal.

Nice to see the one leaving who was getting stick pointing outside and making stabbing motions. Cunt

Did the scousers get around to singing their world famous Carousel song for a second time? I suspect not. Wankers.

You lucky, lucky bastards!

:-)

And more to the point, you beautiful, beautiful bastards! Did us proud, and got the big paybck for all those years of Anfield arse-rapings.

Regarding the Liverpool support, I loved reading from one of them, on Coffee's Before/During/After thread, how tis was the firat and only time in his memory that, when losing at home, the fans didn't defiantly sing YNWA just before the whistle with scarves up. They simply limped out with a wimper and bloody knickers.

Oh joyous day!

Now we need to turn this surpport, into home games, away we are good at home very quiet. we need to turn upton park into a place away fans dont like to come to.turn up the noise i think it could be worth 8 point a season.

Re: Our Away support yesterday
What a day! First time I've ever been with my Mrs and 3 kids all together, was my 7 year old daughter's first ever match. I thought we'd get battered but was looking forward to it anyway as it's always a laugh giving stick to the Scousers. My two boys were in the row immediately in front of me and the two blokes next two them were celebrating with them each goal and picking up my youngest boy and waving him around. He loved it! My little girl thought it was the best day ever....

... She did ask a few things though:

Why are the Liverpool fans so quiet?
Why do the Liverpool fans sit down during the match and then stand at half time and we stand during the match and sit at half time?
Why are the Liverpool fans going home? (At about 80 mins)

There happened to be quite a few young children around where we were standing and the bloke next to me didn't sing the swear words in all the chants as a result, well I presume that's why he didn't sing those words. I didn't care but thoughtful bloke.

Great, great day out. Best away day ever.

Still so hyper.

I totally fucked up my back and now in a lot of pain as a result of the match but it was worth it. IRONSSSSSSSSSS...

I think a win against Newcastle should help get our home form back on track although the wally with the brolly will be after revenge against Bilic.

Watching the games on the TV in the states the commentators always mention our away support. You can always hear "bubbles" being sung - no matter what the score. Owners need to take a leaf out of Swansea's book and subsidize travel and ticket prices.

Ha, my enduring memory of the playoff final was picking the two random kids either side of me up one in each arm and jumping about with them. They'll laugh about then when they are older
